One large pizza, extra eyeballs, please

Jason was eating pizza for lunch today, and he left the table to go to the bathroom. He was concerned that someone was going to steal his pizza so he said to Tyler, "Bubba, will you put an eye on my pizza while I'm gone?"

Pictures I found on my camera. I supect it was Jason and Tyler.

Thanks for the puzzles, Mom!

The boys love these picture puzzles my mom made them. We put one on the front of the washing machine because there wasn't room on the fridge and unfortunately one of the pieces ended up in the wash, and you know how well that goes over. Good thing it was a worthless corner, not a piece of a face.

And P.S. mom, I love the calendar book, and the boys were really, really excited to have 10 whole bucks from Great Grandma. Jason calls it his Golden Ticket.

HA!

We were in Colorado for Thanksgiving and I was putting the kids to bed one night when Joey said, "You know what I want for christmas, mom? I want to live with Grandma and Grandpa." When I laughed he said, "I'm serious!" He cried when we made him come home with us.

Yesterday Tyler brought a Hotwheels car to me. He was holding it in his hand upside-down. He told me, in a sad voice, "He's dead."

Today Tyler told me, (laughing) "I burped with my bum."

Why I neglect my house

My good friend Katie introduced me to digital scrapbooking, and now I'm addicted. Joey and Jason both have scrapbooks, and Tyler has been asking where his is. So I'm in the process of creating one for him. It's fun because there's no mess, and it can be done for free.

I got this puzzle for Joey for christmas. I got it because it had a train on it and it said it glows in the dark (which turned out to be a crock). Oh yeah, and it was really cheap. But it was really hard, and I got obsessed with it until it was all put together. And Joey worked on it for about 3 minutes before he was bored and went to find something more entertaining.
This self-portrait was inspired by Laura Hess, who also helped me with the puzzle.

what a kid

Tyler loves this hat now. He likes to wear it around the house.
He hurt his lip while wrestling with dad and brothers, but a band-aid fixes everything, right? On saturday he didn't get a nap because we were at a funeral, and at about 6:00 pm fell asleep on the kitchen floor.

Snowy Day

Tyler and Jason headed out into the backyard today, laden with hockey sticks and swords. What they planned on doing I don't know, since they both hate snow. Maybe they thought the only way to make it fun is to bring sporting equipment and weaponry. Soon I heard something smash against the sliding glass door. It was Jason throwing chunks of ice. They caught snowflakes on their tongues, then came inside and cried about their cold hands. They abandoned their hockey sticks and swords, which are under a foot of snow by now.

Tyler's touque (toque? Took? how do you spell it?) . . . hat . . . kept going down over his eyes. It looks like he's looking up, but he's really looking at me.

I'm taking the (still soundless) video behind the door and they're tring to hit me with snow balls.
