Easter Eggs

We taught the kids about easter for FHE. Jason said that he thought easter was about eggs and getting stuff, so we thought a lesson about the resurrection was in order. I also told them that the reason we have eggs at easter is because baby birds come out of them, which reminds us of new life and the resurrection. When I got the eggs out to dye, Tyler got really excited and said, "Are there birds in there?!"

    That looks like fun! I hope you didn't find any baby birds, though....that would not be as much fun:)

    Look at you all fancy with the plastic table cover and everything. Wish I'd thought of it to collect Alex's fun spill.

    It was a fancy plastic table cover -- a garbage bag thrown in front of each boy.
