Joey's Fishing Class
I really hate fishing. I pretty much hate everything about it; the smell, the nasty bait, everything dirty and germy, the slimy fish etc., but Jared likes to fish and Joey is really interested in it, and so we signed him up for a fishing class, and he is really enjoying it. He's learned how to tie the hook on, and gets a lot of practice casting and putting the worm on the hook and stuff. Last night he got lots of bites, a few stolen worms, but no fish. He said it was tons of fun anyway.

You forgot all the good stuff about fishing, like sitting in the quiet wilderness for hours while you wait for a bite, the licorice and m&m's you take for a treat, the thrill of reeling in a "keeper," and hangin' out with your dad! I want to take a fishing class! Sign me up.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't look too excited from that picure!
ReplyDeleteI hate fishing too, my friends think it might have something to do with the fact that I've never seen anyone actually catch anything...
That sounds fun. As long as someone else takes care of the fish, I'm all for standing there with a pole.=)
ReplyDeletequestion, where are you fishing at? I just got the best idea! I could catch my snails and we could dig them out of their shells and use them as bait!!!
ReplyDeleteEWWW Laura that sounds awful!! Maybe you would enjoy digging them out of their shells..not me! Shudder! Jenn remember when we poured salt on a snail thinking we were so cool and evil..but then we couldnt stand watching it dissolve and hosed it off with water? Haha I think of that now and think its so funny!
